Implementing ScienceStart!
in the Early Childhood Classroom
This week-long workshop is designed for preschool teachers who want to increase their skills in using the ScienceStart! preschool curriculum and inquiry teaching. Morning sessions address strands such as inquiry, language, literacy and mathematics that run through all the modules, while each afternoon session focuses on the content of a specific curriculum module. Workshop participants will work with the developers of the ScienceStart! curriculum and experienced ScienceStart! teachers. Sessions are hands-on and interactive, with opportunities to observe, practice and problem solve.
